FAQ
Is counselling confidential?
All information disclosed in a session is confidential. The exception to this would be if there were immediate risk of harm to you or to another person. Where possible, I would inform you first before breaking confidentiality to a third party e.g. your GP.
Confidentiality will be discussed further and clearly defined during the initial counselling session.

How many sessions will I need?
This will depend on the individual. Some people may need just a few sessions to work through their difficulties, others may need longer. I will discuss with you on a regular basis how you are feel the sessions are going, and make further appointments if necessary.
Where will the sessions take place?
The counselling sessions will take place at my Private Practice in Copplestone or in central Exeter. I have safe and comfortable counselling rooms, which are completely private.
I work long hours and may not be able to come to counselling during the day. Will I still be able to get an appointment?
Yes, I can offer appointments in the evening and on Saturday mornings.
